Music
Music has always been a significant tradition in our parochial life. Because of the number of musicians in the parish and our ties to the larger New Mexico musical community, Canterbury's expectations about the quality of our liturgical music is high.
We often enjoy the offerings of vocal or instrumental soloists, and regularly have special music provided by our own congregation.
Music
for most services is provided by our organist and by congregational
singing. Our hymns are primarily taken from the (Episcopal)
Hymnal 1982. Until recently, our resident organist and
music director was Edwina Beard (picture at right). She
now shares the music responsibilities with Fritz Frurip.
